Jaeger-LeCoultre

Well I for one LOVE the edition.

For many reasons.

First being the much discussed logo.  When I saw the NSA when it was released I immediately liked it enough to pursue.  When I found out about the logo change I lost all interest.  It would drive me crazy.

Then I heard about the 25 piece Spanish edition.  "Perfect" I thought, except for the accessibility.

So now a revised version for North America.  Why not?  The Navy Seals are an American unit.  Also, I think it is important to pay tribute to the early success and impact of the US boutique.  No better edition for a US boutique than a piece made in association with an American partner.  The color accents are nice, but the case differences really separate this edition.  Imagine if they never use black gold or "charcoal PVD" again.

Sounds like JLC has thought it through from start to finish, from the design with input of local collectors to what sounds to be a cool launch event.

Owners of the 25 piece LE from Spain have no reason whatsoever to be "pissed" IMO.  Enjoy what you have; the rarest of all versions, and seemingly what the Manufacture most originally designed.  I came very close to the newest Amvox 2 Racing - I love the watch - and I remember some similar sentiments from other Amvox / JLC diehards regarding the issue of "yet another" Amvox 2.

I really feel JLC should be applauded for this introduction.  To me it feels much more like a very "special" creation than it does the brand simply trying to make more dollars.
