First of all, these are very nice " evolutions " of an already very nice watch ( sorry for the repetition ). The darkened case is really great, and the small and discrete touches of color ( being dark orange or faded yellow ) give the watch a certain appe...

First time I have ever been called a serpent's egg....;-) But I think I understand your point - this kind of action is something a successful and ambitious brand such as JLC should consider carefully. Many of us watch-nerds/WISs are acting as brand ambass...

Patrice said it all: THe NSA was presented in the 2009 SIHH with an etched glass. I agree with you that JLC could change for some technical reasons the etched sapphire for the writing on the alarm disk. But went the Aldao, and I don't care it is a LE, I c...

I agree with you.... I have mixed feelings about limited editions as most of them end up not being limited but there are variations.... RO by AP comes in mind as well as the AMVOX 2..... I do like JLC very much but would like to see a limited edition stay...

Although I'm a happy owner of the Aldao watch, and I really like the NSA (all of them, including the new BH), I'm not a fan of LE in general, and I understand your complaints about the way JLC is making different versions of the watch.

I just can't associate JLC with 'hardcore' watches. It seems like a war jeep by Maserati. But the details are very nice. As always. Still, I find myself having a chuckle over this one...

For many reasons. First being the much discussed logo. When I saw the NSA when it was released I immediately liked it enough to pursue. When I found out about the logo change I lost all interest. It would drive me crazy. Then I heard about the 25 piece Sp... 

But in the respect of those who went on the first model. To be clear, I don't believe in the LE phenomenon, so to me, this is not a real problem, and I agree with you. That's why I'm not disturbed by the further developments on the A II, as you and Ming s... 

I agree with your sentiments. Your question about how I would feel if I owned one with the disc printing and then one came out on the crystal.... would I be mad? Absolutely. But in the case of the owners of the 25 piece LE of course this is not the case -... 

And I agree with you when you say that this watch is a very nice one. But once again, Limited or not, this is not, IMO, the problem. The Spanish guys don't have to complain that much, I also agree. But the 1500 others? And a lot of them who wanted the etc... 

About a year ago, JLC had a small dinner at the boutique attended by a half dozen folks -- I was fortunate enough to have been included. At that dinner, 2-3 of the attendees had the idea of created a SE MC Navy Seal for the BHB. Stephanie was receptive. T... 

...and all it does for the customers and fans. I think it is marvelous what the Boutique and JLC did here. I also applaud the loyal and active group of JLC fans that particiapted in the creation of these two LEs and who participate in all of these special...

Hello Quan, For me it would be a tough choice. Titanium PVD version is cool but the Black Gold sounds interesting. Maybe contact JLC BH Boutique and see if they can ship to your local Boutique/AD for inspection or make a vacation out to L.A.? -MW
