But went the Aldao, and I don't care it is a LE, I care that an exception was made for the etched crystal.
More serious, the BH Boutique:
When I read that the writing on the alarm disk is not good for the legibility of the watch, and that the etched sapphire was a kind of improvement on this matter, Ming, I feel very sorry for the owners of the 1st edition who believed that they would receive an etched sapphire as presented in Geneva, and that if they didn't receive it, it was for some good technical reasons.
So yes, JLC as any other brand can change the specificity of some protos and even watches without problems, but in this case, as explained above, it is totally different.
The first owners of the NSA bought it, even if they were decieved by this change, because the love the watch, and they really thought that there will not be any other choice than taking it or leaving it.
Then, 2 evidences that they were wrong, and that the impossible became possible, for a growing minority.
Next time, they will certainly do as we did for Cell Phones or Computers, they will wait till they are sure there won't be any other variation of the product, and at the end of the product life, and preferrabily on the Grey Market...
