Jaeger-LeCoultre

Thank you for these points but that's not the question IMO!

Hi,

Thank you for adding these points to the discussion.

In fact I don't think we discuss JLC's right to issue limited editions here.

What we discuss is the fact that in January 2009 JLC presented the Diving NSA with the brand written on the glass, not on the dial.

When we discovered in June 2009 that finally the name was written on the dial (on the rotable central part of it) we were first deceived (a lot), then answered that it was for technical reasons: the result was not technically satisfying so it was abandonned. A technical reason was acceptable even if we regretted it.

Then the first LE with the name on the glass was presented for some lucky few in Spain. The reaction of the collectors was what it should be: they were surprised and once again deceived. I've read no official explanation but heard that the glasses used were to some extent "prototype" ones. I don't know if that's true.

Now we get a larger LE with the name on the glass.

I'm happy for the BH boutique. They get a very beautfiul watch.

I'm sorry for the collectors who are loosing faith in JLC because they feel screwed up.

Is JLC going to offer a free exchange of dial and glass for those who bought their NSA with the brand on the dial because they had accepted the explanation that it was not technically possible to have it on the glass in good conditions?

So many collectors have lost faith in Panerai for not being respected, I don't want that to happen to JLC even if I understand that it can be unvoluntary.

Cheers

Dje
