Disappointment - defined more precisely
No doubt - the watch is very cool and I _do_ enjoy it.
My disappointment goes more towards JLC showing the prototype, delivering something different while saying that it was not 'technically possible' to deliver one of the unique characteristics of the prototype - and then suddenly being able to release three variations of the watch with exactly this unique etching.
That is what bugs me - and it does feel like 'bait and switch' in my end. Of course, I could have abstained from buying the watch - but it was a great watch even without the etching. And it still is.
Thus, I am disappointed about JLC and their tactics - not about the watch itself. Apart from knowing that I could have had the etching...
