Everyone probably knows by now that I'm dying to see the new Grande Reverso 101 Art Deco in person. Sadly, I still haven't seen it, BUT I did see some other iterations of the famous JLC caliber 101 and they are fabulous!!!
Before we begin, a special thank you to Kate from JLC for making a trip back to the vault to pull these pieces especially for us to photograph and handle.
I usually do not go for women's watches. There are a few pieces from Piaget and AP that immediately come to mind that I'd like to own, but generally I wear and prefer men's watches. I am, however, so impressed by the tiny marvels I'm about to showcase below. The caliber 101 watches that were presented last night are finely finished, and delicate, but feel surprisingly sturdy in hand -- the mix of ethereal style and solid, substantive watchmaking know-how was a pleasant dichotomy.
I took a bunch of pictures and will post some here below, as I'm running out the door in a few minutes. Enjoy the pictorial for now and we can discuss more when I return later tonight! Happy Friday!
Cheers,
Daos
