Very sad to hear
My thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones. He was part of the charm of this forum: honest, respectful, and very generous with his knowledge. While I, regrettably, did not interact with him much (even though it seems we were both from the NYC area), I always enjoyed reading his posts.
His love of this mad hobby of ours and his insights will be sorely missed but not forgotten. May he rest in peace.

Thanks for posting this, it's so sad to hear about his passing and i wish the best for his family. I'll miss his posts here.
I sat next to him at lunch and aside from the watches, really enjoyed chatting with him as a sincere and intellectual but also super real New Yorker. He was way to young to go so soon.

Even I didn't know him in persoon, having online conversations on a forum since many, many years gives you the feeling you did however knew each other.

I learned a lot from his posts and traded PMs a few times on a forum, can't remember if it was this one or another. He was a knowledgeable collector and always happy to give advice. Thank you for posting and thanks to J as well for the detailed post.

I am so very very sorry and sad to read this. He was the first person ever i spoke to when i became interested in watches. I remember that i thought he was the most funny watch collector on the internet.
