...to experience Zeppelin live in '76. Wow! Page, Plant, Jones, Bonham...these are the giants upon whose mighty shoulders so many modern artists stand. Because of Led Zeppelin, I can pinpoint the exact moment I fell in love with music. As a little girl in Virginia almost a decade after you saw Zeppelin at Knebworth, I saw video of them performing "Whole Lotta Love" and Jimmy Page wailing on his guitar with a violin bow. The image, and the sound -- like the air around me was being shredded into pieces, blew my mind. I was never the same again. I'm completely untalented as a musical performer, so instead I got a job that involves music. Imagine...I can trace my entire career trajectory to one point in time, and an Englishman with a Gibson Les Paul.
Cheers,
Daos
