Hello, all. I am 46 years old and have two boys (10 and 7 years old) and a lifetime total of one wife (29 years old, and I suggest you pretend to believe that). I live in Santa Monica. I am a tax and business consultant.
My primary collecting interests are violin-family musical instruments and watches. I am particularly interested in instruments from the 17th and 18th centuries; I am particularly interested in watches from the pre-quartz era. In each case, I can be tempted by interesting newer productions. My minor collecting interests include vintage port, art and the occasional oriental rug.
I am quite serious about my eating (and fortunately my wife is quite serious about her cooking). When time and finances permit I very much enjoy travel (with France being the default destination). I enjoy both of those pastimes vicariously through the excellent travel- and food-related posts on this site.
I really enjoy the Southern California PuristsPro community and attend get-togethers whenever possible.
