...there's definitely tons that can be discussed about tattoos. To answer your question about aging, yes, they can fade over time (particularly if you expose them to the sun) and certain colors don't seem to take as well on some people. A lot of people apparently can't hold red in their skin (Luckily, I can!) and tattoos on hands/feet wear off faster than most other areas. I don't actually have any pictures of mine, so I'm not sure how interesting of a post I could really do. Mine are all Asian-influenced designs. On my left arm I have a tiger and dragon chasing each other's tails around a purple chrysanthemum blossom; on the right, I have a raven perched on a blooming dogwood branch. Those tattoos are large and take up most of my upper arms (but they aren't "sleeves" that go the entire way around my arm). My first tattoo is on the left side of my chest and is the kanji symbol "hoshi," meaning "star." My name, which is pronounced "Dow," means "star" in Thai. I'm sure this is all very boring for you without the pictures to reference!
I hope you and the family are well.
Cheers,
Daos
