That's just a terrible story. It's amazing that we entrust an airline to get us to our destination in times of great stress, pain, and anguish; and not only do they not deliver, they rudely add greater insult to injury.
Perhaps we should trust the airline to do their job. But maybe it's the airline's fault for not hiring dedicated employees to conduct themselves professionally and emphatically. Any airline executive would say their employee was a lone wolf who didn't follow training and policy. But who's to blame, still the airline for not correctly training the actual employee.
