Hi Daos
Actually I have no idea whether or not there are any secret tattoo aficionados amongst us. The topic of tattoos has never come up, but that is exactly what TimeOut is for I guess.
As you say, there are some amazingly striking and beautiful artistic pieces and I am also intrigued in how styles and fashions have changed over the years and how people come to choose a tattoo that ‘expresses themselves’. The same thought process must go into choosing a watch, but the difference is you can sell a watch on the Marketplace if your tastes change. Tattoos ‘age’ as well, don’t they? Colours and details run into each other. Is this the same idea as a patinated vintage watch?
I think there would be much to discuss.
