Thanks for the fascinating technical information.

 

As you said previously, tattoos are a very personal expression, and posting images here may not be entirely appropriate ("comfortable" is probably closer to what I mean). Only you know how people react to your tattoos ‘in real life’ and whether you would want that sort of response in your ‘virtual life’ as well. I’m sure you would get some respectful interest though, and Mo might like to share some of his work.

 

Whatever you decide is fine but for the moment, from your descriptions, the tattoos sound very striking. I’m sure there are lots of meanings in the raven and chasing dragon and tiger, but that’s for another conversation. Following the Celtic influenced designs, the Kanji symbols seem to be popular in Australia as well. The closest I come is having my name in Kanji on an Urushi lacquered fountain pen. Still personal, but certainly not the same as a tattoo.
