Patek Philippe

Well said!

Another reason why I like Lange (and I like Patek Philippe very much as well) watches because their low end and high end all exhibit very good and fairly equal levels of finishing (except early 1815 models had some missing finishing on parts you couldn't see). Plus, ALL LANGES go through double assembly. Only Patek Philippe's grand complications (perpetual calendars and higher) and endure double assembly. Double assembly is a nice feature with true benefits, because it allows the watchmaker to assemble the watch and make all the micro adjustments, then disassemble the watch, have the opportunity to make final movement finishing and movement decoration, and reassemble the watch, this time with minimal adjustments (thus decreasing the amount of scratches and wear exposed to the movement plates) to create a product with minimal flaws.
