Richemont is already very hands off...

 

Compared to other conglomerates, there is relatively very little technology sharing among the brands within Richemont. Each brand does have most of its identity intact. This particular watch just happens to be one that does use a movement from the Richemont group.

But don't you think that the watch is a good deal for a first-time buyer? Do you think its price point allows a lot of people to become more exposed to the world of high horology?
