There are plenty of uses for syringes and my boys particularly enjoy the 50mL size for summer water fights. The 10mL size makes a lethal spud gun with pretty good distance and accuracy. While there are new fangled things like laser skirmish, the old fashioned toys are still fun.

The ultra chron was a real revolution for its time, it was very accurate and elegant as well. However good luck for finding spare parts when you need to repair one, that is not easy.
