IMO it dates to the beginning of the 70ies (or maybe last years of the 60ies) due to the design of the hour indizes.
This shape was characteristic for that era.

The ultra chron was a real revolution for its time, it was very accurate and elegant as well. However good luck for finding spare parts when you need to repair one, that is not easy.
