After so long of marketing by Rolex, Rolex has become mainstream which reuslts in the brand being associated with the status quo which inturn is associated with an older generation. I also think that Omega's advertising is a bit different in its focus whcih makes it appeal a bit younger. Omega's connection to James Bond, it's stronger connection to the famel market, and to younger celabs, i think gives the impression that the brand is "younger". That is at least my take. Nothing lasts forever and hopefully Rolex will be able to continue to be a "young" and cool brand
