It's more than just watches here.
As to actually purchasing a watch, that's still in the cards. Of course, the value play consideration does come in more often compared to before in light of my situation. To a non-enthusiast's eyes, considering a watch purchase might be viewed as irresponsible but that general pov hasn't really changed even before this pandemic happened! From the outside looking in, people actually think we're a little bit insensitive but in truth, they don't realize that we can actually get out of it anytime and get a fair return on average. With a bit of care, it is actually a responsible way of enjoying your money.
Don't get me wrong though. I still find myself reacting like, where do these guys get their money? But then I see the watches, the thought process behind the hunt, the enjoyment, the odd sacrifice to get it, and it's all good. Not sure this makes sense, but we can't shy away from looking at nice things just because we're not in the same position to actually enjoy it. That path has a tendency to lead to bitterness, envy. I noticed that happening to myself and it can get pretty dark.
We don't have to buy 'em to enjoy 'em until we need to hahaha!
Stick around, man. There's enough gloom and doom outside PPro if we want to wallow in that kind of realism. In lieu of road trips and travel due to restrictions, PPro is sometimes as close to a vacation as I can get!
