Although I have not bought a disappointing watch in years... there was a period of seemingly constant disappointment... and a situation like this can take a person on the fence and push them over for good.

My finances are focused on essentials (food, bills, well being, etc.) and the only way I remain involved in the watch hobby these days are forums and enjoying what I already have. Not much horological fun going on at Casa Overwound these days.
