I guess it depends of several factors, like financial and emocional wellness, actual state of your collection, new offerings of the market, brand novelties, etc etc. Also, many of us turn very cautious with the unnecessary acquisitions while in uncertain times.
Since I work for government and have a steady income (not that I have to buy many watches though), and I am focused about the watches I like to ad to my collection, and a priority scale, I’m always on the hunt. My priority scale allows me to keep hunting for affordable but wanted pieces.
I have always wanted a vintage Calatrava, so I recently bought this:
It has beautiful faceted indexes, and a nice Taubert Frères waterproof case. Just what I would love to see several well known brands re-issuing.
Waiting for it to arrive. I’m thinking about a BOR bracelet and some saffiano leather straps. What do you think?
Best regards and stay safe.

P.S. also I think our hobby helps us to distract ourselves from being overwhelmed by the pandemics. Or any other hobby for that matter.
