Which perfectly illustrates the dilemma 
I currently have a grey RS4, fantastic car but almost a bit “boring” / “too easy” in spite of the 450cv.
Our other car is a full option dark blue X3 (30i): I’m already covered for long distance trips or everyday “low profile”.
As I have the possibility to replace the RS4 (already a super high baseline) I want to make sure I’m not configuring something too “quiet”. I live in Zurich and even the light blue with aerokit will be “tame” compared to the crazy machines you see on the streets...
I got one more week to make my mind before the production gets frozen...
Help me choose...

If you don't plan to go on a track, I would exclude the Nr 3. Do you have another car, or will it be your only one?

This sounds like a good plan
You can have your base car as option 1 and wrap it into option 2... so that you kill two birds with one stone. I would not take the wing if your purpose is not very high speed German autobahn driving/track

Going by the 3 photos shown...
Option 3 caught my eye and with that exact rim combo. A fine car in any color you choose in the end .
No writing on hood or flanks, no wing, for me.

All the options are great! For me, the classic 911 shape is very much disrupted by the wing and if it's not going to be on the track the wing seems a little pointless to boot. A ducktail would have been nice option. As for the color, particularly on the 9...

The last one looks silly with the wing compared to the other two. Just my opinion though, I am not really into exotic cars. Probably why I prefer the cleaner ones.

You have kids and are buying a 911. Bravo. I started with looking at the 911, 812 Superfast and DB9.

My vote is for number 2.
IMO the third only seems relevant if you plan for trackdays (and be aware they are addictive!). The first option - although very good-looking - is in its appearence more of GT than sport.
Do you need the 4S because of road snow/ice?...
