Aye Aye Captain! I'll kick this off...

I enjoy vintage watches, especially simpler, time-only or time-date watches. And especially those in 'jumbo' sizes of 36mm and above, as many vintage time-only watches are 35mm and below
But somehow, despite a wide range of brands collected, including several vintage Seikos, I never quite found a vintage Citizen that appealed to me. They were either not in good shape, or something bothered me about the dial or hands, or they were priced too high. So the target was never quite acquired...
In October though, I came across this 1964 Citizen Jet Autodater with quite a charming multi-level dial, with a jumbo 37.5mm case, complete with its original Beads-of-Rice bracelet. And it was reasonably priced!
I was quite happy when it arrived safely. Sure, the BOR bracelet required several rounds with toothbrush and soap, plus 3 trips to the ultrasonic cleaner, but the watch itself was in good shape.
Finally... target acquired! For vintage, the thrill is indeed in the hunt
