The box with the watch is ready for shipment to AD.
While the parcel shops closed, it is waiting till i can bring the box to a parcel shop.
They have difficult open times, while i am at work.
I must plan some free time for bringing the box to UPS or DHL.
Back where it all began, my latest watch the Revue Thommen Airspeed Day Date.
Won the auction bid, i paid 600 bucks.
Still under retail price, lucky acquisition.
As always, the boys from GLS brought my Revue Thommen in good condition. 17th of November.
The watch contains a humble Sellita SW220.1 , think of the day date complication.
No concerns, my Baume & Mercier used a Sellita too SW100.1, runs from day one fine.
The finish is quite good for a 600 bucks watch.
No errors, good strap, good dial, hefty, 316L steel.
What surprised me is the feel is better than a 600 bucks watch, let’s say a SG watch.
Revue Thommen produce their watches at a factory in de canton Basel.
A company that exist for a long time is the owner of Reveu Thommen.
The co operation with Vulcain split a long time ago.
Inner work.
Pictures.

Sides:

Dial close ups:

Warranty: three years.
Others:
Screw in crown. 100m water resistance, great to take under a shower.
Accuracy, a fast beater, no cosc.
42mm case size.
Opinion:
Great bang for the buck.
It changed my view of needed expensive watches.
A good watch is just, be have enough knowledge which are the treasures in watch land.
And speed up to get a few Vulcains before all are sold out. At least i want to hear a cricket ring.
