I always associate the classic Cartier look with Bi-metallic finishes. It works well.

It is easier to enjoy the Dato Perpetual more from a horological interest standpoint naturally. It has superior finishing and it's a grand complication. From a casual chic with a touch of luxury and for an everyday watch, the Polo Skeleton is easier to we...

Just plunge in, going busy with watches. One i prepare for a trip to the AD. on any minutes. Box, weight, etiquette, adres, shipping. When it go for service, i needed to replace it for the time away for service, i see the Revue Thommen Airspeed day date a...  

The box with the watch is ready for shipment to AD. While the parcel shops closed, it is waiting till i can bring the box to a parcel shop. They have difficult open times, while i am at work. I must plan some free time for bringing the box to UPS or DHL. ...

What i wrote, RT take Sellita as movement supplier, so i can laid back and enjoy wear it. Forgot to call in the in depth reply, the painted hands in the center gives the outer hand tips a flying look, hanging in the air without attaching something. Great ...

The Silberstein was definitely a cool target to acquire in 2021. We all need to be reminded of a little fun and this watch definitely does that. I should have pulled the trigger on this one but so many targets and we all have to make choices. Best regards...

I love the dial on your Octo, it’s a good looking watch and definitely a future classic design. What spec did you go for on your Principia ?

For the Principia, I have ordered the stainless steel case, turquoise dial and blue buffalo orange stitching strap. Still 16 months to go before its arrival

Yes, I’m always looking, though mainly window-shopping (or at least that’s what I tell my wife!?!). I’m keen to see the new green 5930p. That would certainly be a contender, though a bit pricey. In the current catalog the next on my list is the 5212a, and... 

the Breguet La Tradition has been my long-time target and as i shared earlier this year, i acquired it for a good price during a sale at my usual AD early this year. here's a photo of the watch and a wristshot... ...

The hands are exquisitely made and they are quite unusual, at least to me. It is so wonderful that you are “upgrading” the dial to match the movement! It must be a very exciting project and I guess only possible by working with an independent watch maker....

. . . with hands posed for effect, i e, the movement isn't running. Ref 2493 is 36 mm, and the first chronometer Omega produced after the Centenary issues of 1948. Bagging this one essentially completes my collection; the only chronometer movement missing...  

I bet it feels like silk on the wrist. Only good vintage offers this.
