Ok, I would like to play—
Before I knew what horology even meant, back in 2005, I saw a print ad for the AP ROO Juan Pablo Montoya and I loved it immediately. The magazine was one that we left in our “guest” bathroom so it was there for years and every time I happened to choose the “porcelain god” in that room, I picked up the magazine and saw the Montoya again. We have since moved out of that home and my watch passion has been lit for about ten years now, but I never forgot the Montoya. I have had several AP Royal Oaks and Royal Oak Offshores, but the most recent was sold and gone when this one, in mint condition with full box and papers, came into a jeweler about 10 minutes from where I live. Now it’s on my wrist!
