Like many, I’d dreamed of a Daytona for many years. I didn’t want to pay the premium on steel and the gold models were too dressy (sometimes gaudy) and removed from their racing roots. When the oysterflex version Casa released, it was to me the perfect mix of precious metal and sport aesthetic. I knew it was time and pulled the trigger promptly in Jan 2018, shortly before the market went crazy, and so was able to acquire the target under list. Thus the “bullseye” photo….
