Horological Meandering: Similar dial to 7412 and 7413

If I recall, you have a ref 7413, which has a similar dial, but different case and pushers. Care to compare for those of us who have admired these vintage chronos from only afar?

Seiko: Thank you for your thoughts

It’s definitely on my short list. I need to decide if it can be worn as a daily watch in casual settings (ie, without a suit). I really don’t need another dress watch and would like to add a versatile GS to my collection. I also really like the dark blue Mt Iwate dial on the new SBGK005, but that’s

Vacheron Constantin: Completely agree

This watch in all 3 metals is equally fantastic, each in its own unique way. Just a superb watch. Enjoy.

Seiko: Thinking of getting one

Someone told me the deployant buckle is a bit bulky. Do you find it so? I’d really like to add a GS to my collection, and I love the dial and movement. Do you think it would look nice with a bracelet, or do you find the watch too dressy for a bracelet? Would love your thoughts on this beauty. Thanks

Horological Meandering: Love this watch

It’s a flyback, isn’t it? I think Longines also made a version with steel hands and indices, but the dual tone here is lovely. Great condition too. Congratulations.

IWC: Very cool

I assume these must be quartz, despite the “automatic” on the face. Unless some hotel employee has a very unusual daily chore.

Vacheron Constantin: Or maybe the company has changed

It was the American 1921 and the CDV that made me take a fresh look at VC. I think both watches are quite inspired.

Vacheron Constantin: Platinum model unavailable

I was in the NY boutique two months ago and was told they are not getting any more platinum models, and my AD also said the same. The model still shows up on VC’s website, but I believe production has already been discontinued. Interestingly, there are a couple of platinums available on Chrono24 in

Vacheron Constantin: I love my CDV

I have the platinum CDV and love it. I think the dimensions are perfect (for my wrists anyway), and I appreciate the combination of the classical and vintage dial layout with the quirkiness of the lugs. Something about it just speaks to me. VC could have screwed it up with a larger case or an automa

Patek Philippe: Wonderful watch.

It’s a 5270G-001, not 5170. Congratulations.
