Now, about driving experience... There are indeed two schools: Those who like the electronic assistance, and yes, you are right, I already read that the recent 911 systems are very efficient. And those who prefer to face the difficulty and to feel the car, its reactions.
I for one am used to the " dancing " rear of my good old P1800 E. No assistance at all, you have to fight when the road is wet. Especially with used tires. But you feel the car, its reactions and correct the trajectories quite easily.
Same for the Alpine. I disconnect all the assistances when I am in the Track Mode. I better feel the car and its reactions and I really prefer that. Now, not always. I mean when I have a long road to do, in some wet conditions, sometimes I let the assistances. But I want to have the choice.
And yes, when you have such cars, you'd better get used to them and to their reactions. Which can take some thousands of kilometers...
Thank you, my dear Patrick!
