I appreciate the vintage but don’t appreciate the upkeep. One of my good friends had a 964 turbo that he finally traded in towards a 488 because he got tired of chasing the gremlins and in constant repair of something. My personal sweet spot is the 991. Gauges are still analog and not digital like the 992 not as bloated looking as the 992 and super reliable. My 2014 turbo s I put 60k miles on it trouble free before trading it in. I also really like the 997 but that clutch is tough on your left leg over extended drives. I remember almost pulling the trigger on 997.2 RS about 4 years ago when no one was looking at them. Now I regret not adding it to my collection. I guess bottom line is that you can’t go wrong with pretty much any Pcar. It’s like watches the hunt is half the fun. Good luck on your search my friend. My next hit piece? I’m thinking 992 RS, turbo SC or Mclaren 765LT to change things up a bit.
