As I said to other members, the brand has known and created different periods in terms of style. Today, many of us are especially served and attracted by the 1990's and 2000's period.
The world standards, the economy, the cultures, technologies evolve and shape our world. Hence, for such a traditional brand as Patek it is important to understand where to go. We see from the 3 or 4 last years that the brand keeps most of the collection on the classical side, though making a smaller part evolve toward a more 1940's or 1950's approach, proposing new interpretations of Patek watches following younger generations and new trends to come.
No brand keep proposing the same watches for 30 years and this is something that, especially for people who have a certain knowledge about watches, needs time to accept or decide to keep on buying the watches from our favorite period.
I think what they do is very interesting, in a very interesting period, even if there are some models I'm not sure of regarding my own tastes right now. However, there are newer generations, especially in the clients we don't know, with different cultures in terms of aesthetics that are looking for that.
We'll see in several years how we evolve as well.
Thank you Charcoal.
Best, Mark
