I had the same thoughts
Especially when the 40th anniversary Nautilus was released. The price and decoration choice is also a way to say to clients, if you want it you have to pay a certain price that will make a quick re sell difficult.
On the other hand, I think I would differ on the 5320 case's size. It might not be for everyone but I don't think that 40mm is or isn't "classic". My opinion would be that the way it looks on the wrist is what makes the size "classic". A 39mm on a very small wrist is not better imho than a 40mm case on a big wrist. A question of proportions in a way.
