I agree with everything you say and agree that sometimes watches are growers rather than showers but in my experience not very often. The 5070 is my only experience of a watch that didn't make me go weak when I set eyes on it.

I think they may find back their place in watchmaking
but all depends how it is done, where we'll see them etc... We'll need another 5 or 10 years to find out. In the mean time, there are references I would have prefered without them too. Best, Mark
