As I get older, but clearly not wiser (as my wife reminds me regularly) the cost/ price of a watch is what someone will pay. There are plenty of folk who will pay significant amounts for various reasons. I agree with a previous post that the delta between 6k or 11k is almost irrelevant as these are both large sums. If we were comparing 1k and 11k that would be different. A £100 Casio is far better proposition for time keeping than any Pp, Ap, Rolex or Vc. But I guess that is not the point?
