This is a perennial question

I have found a temporary answer: each time I look at a new watch, I convince myself that my mini collection covers all bases and that I do not need another one

- Audemars Jules chrono (dress day to day)
- Rolex OP 39 (more sporty, at ease both swimming in a lake and at the office)
- Patek ultra thin for the special events

I will add a sports Seiko in 2021 for rougher activities like mountain biking or rafting, but this will be a very reasonable addition.

My rules: your next purchase should bring a smile, and if you do not wear a watch for more than a year, sell it
