Horological Meandering

I do...but I'm also a realist.

San Francisco has (for a long time it's been sliding downhill) become a hell-hole. We have had our parked cars broken into more than once. The police can't be bothered to do anything about it. There are junkies and beggars everywhere and the filth/needles on the street is appalling. The politicians all live in the ritzy parts of town and see none of it on a daily basis. They throw tons of money at 'solving' the problem but it all goes to programs to 'help' the homeless and the addicts. And, as you probably know, when you subsidize something you get more of it. I'm hoping you live in/near a safer city. I never had this problem when living in Tokyo. I am visiting there next month and will proudly wear my nice watches : )
