Had a GP Laureato 8010, but sold it because of the delicate bracelet and their soft screws... Regretted selling the moment I sold the watch. Now, they are near impossible to find, and much more expensive with the intro of the new models... TT ...

Well, I rediscovered very recently a “classic” Reverso GT in yellow gold that I considered myself underestimated. No complication here, yellow gold which is may be the least desirable gold of these last years... So, underestimated, may be, but definitely ...

... with so many different angles to it - let me try to express my own spin to it. One thought prior to sharing my entry... any watch, that's sitting in a safe or vault, still wrapped in it's protective stickers, happens to be under appreciated by its own...

But the Seiko is something, without the logo I would have guessed Zenith. So outside their usual aesthetics, yet so true to the philosophy.

Produces inexpensive and therefore Low quality watches. They are only partly correct Seco does produce an expensive watches but it extremely high-quality. What does that say about some of the very expensive swiss brands that we love, admire, and collect? ... 

Up and down the "expense" vector Seiko probably gives more than your money's worth.

The reason are perhaps because of the movement, the case, or the line it self I guess... They are rare for a reason, but in not a good way I think... I think because it's quartz, and the size...? While this kind of straight lug is pretty rare by itself......

The Mondia is particularly nice. I love the symmetry between the date window at 12 (one of the coolest position for a date window IMHO) and the port hole second at 6. I would be really curious to see it in the metal. The white Omega is cool too. It makes ...

But here's a theme I feel may be under appreciated - entry level Seiko mechanical watches. Paraphrasing Uncle Joe, quantity has a quality all of its own. Plus they are the AK47 of the horological world, robust, and easily surviving on. Extra to no TLC Her...
