Mondia 'Top Second' - Mondia? I here you say - who are they? It was a collaborative piece & holds a nice Zenith 23j auto movement. That & its gold plate and a date window guarantee its under appreciation - but I love its funky case, indecies and flashing second porthole.
BWC - 'Buttes Watch Company' - with a movement that was used in Heuer's etc of the period - Funky case too!
The unloved of the Omega stable - too 70's for many, but has the same 565 movement as the Seamaster etc - & it looks & wears well IMO.
Getting funkier! Great design & wrist presence, and hi beat movement comparable to GP & UN of the era.
Not Swiss? Sacre Bleu! Another funky number, from Germany, in great dial colour contrasts & case shape - and a big day/date for those lovers of clean dials out there ;-).
So, appreciate the under appreciated - its a varied & interesting world out there.
Best,
Giles
