Just received a new strap for the summer! Would have been easy to label this as a dress watch but this “funs it up” ...

...the Sub is a great beater as it was meant to be...the very definition of a tool watch. ...  

I can think of a better example of a tool watch from the 80’s.

and only realized much later what I had gotten into: Then this one came along and now I have a contest which one to favor... Both are about the same age and the geiger counter records a similar radiation for both of them... So sometimes, the flip of a coi...

It's a very basic story on the 2998: I stumbled upon it on the auction platform in the old days when we hardly knew anything about these and the seller description was very vague. My main reason for me to buy it was the bracelet - of all things! How "illi... 

Those were the days ! I was going to mention the Heuer, it looks superb with a perfect bezel. I would love to hear how you came by this one.

It was on a German dealer website and I nailed it within the blink of an eye after it popped up. Just lucks to be at my computer at the right time. Been told that there were several others just a bit slower than I was... Cheers RIchard

Welcome to Wristscan with your superb Omega 300M, one of my favourite watches from Omega. It looks very good. How long have you had this one ?

. . . with undivided attention for at least a week, sometimes two. So far, White Connie appears to be performing quite well, a second or two ahead after eighteen hours on my wrist. If this level of performance pans out, it will be the first time it's perf... 

It looks jut the way I like them. Gently enjoyed by a caring owner. The balance staff is a common problem for us collectors, many incorrect ones used over the years.

. . . but he was able to correct it with 'massage'. If timing results aren't to my liking, we may revisit that part (#1324) in the near future.

Great, that meanwhile all has been in hands caring with excellence, it appears. HAGWE & Best, hs.

I like the shot with the 4 fish but also that wonderful “full splash” snap - Anyway, well done.. With the Pasha Cartier there are other features and appeal : absolutely love that sportive look, the sort of downdressed appearance and still, it’s a Jeweller... 

agree with you that a Submariner is an all around watch, tough and waterproof an ideal tool to have on the wrist when vacationing near the sea and pool and expecting to enjoy water swimming. The Pasha is a purchase during my trip of a watch I've been cons...

The Sub is one of your classics but the Pasha here intrigues me. Unlike some previous versions there seems to be no lume. Is the WR still diving compatible? And it seems there is a quick change strap mechanism? Cool pieces and I hope you enjoy them this w... 

... and I thought it was the ideal watch for a vacation to be spent near the sea and pool. The new version of the Pasha has blued hands. No lume. The WR says "water resistant 100 meters" on the case back, so I' m not taking this watch to the pool or sea a...

I remember seeing a Diablo years ago and loved it. It was out of my price range then. This piece came up as new and I just went for it. It’s not the best version IMO but the simplicity of the dial makes the movement stand out

I am not much for the safe queen concept and while one might say that as there are no very expensive pieces in our collection at home that the point is a shaky one, the watches get worn, even if that means some ‘patina’ as a result 😉 So here goes: ...

but since moving on to a job where i prefer to wear "lower profile" watches for various reasons, i do appreciate my grand seiko a lot of course, when i'm not heading to the office nor meeting colleagues, i will gladly wear these when the occasion is suita...

This is Patek 5177G-010, a rare handcraft made in part with miniature painting in part with enamel techniques. It represents Boccadasse, my favorite neighborhood in my hometown of Genova, and I was lucky to receive it exactly 3 years ago. There exists at ...
