Been quite fascinated by the colorful Oyster Perpetuals and looking for opinions…. So, a vote for one of four options below would be my request… 1. 36mm yellow 2. 41mm yellow 3. 36mm red 4. 41mm red Now, since we have a lot of purists here I think 36 will...

the coloured dials i assume are not an official option from rolex before you bought one -i would first check with your local AD for rolex and ask them -would they service/repair the watch with the coloured dial as it is non standard, as rolex are very str...

Initially considered the 36 but it felt too small on my 16.5cm wrist when I tried it. The 41mm does not wear too large at all even if 39mm would have been perfect for a vintage but not too vintage vibe ...

I’m seeing a leaning towards 36mm, as you expected. It made me think, and it’s true that the 36mm sizes perhaps have a certain vintage reminiscence, as well as looking elegant in a way that larger watches trade off. But the 41mm don’t wear too big. I have...

Just like sebks said, the 41 doesn’t seem to be too large.

I haven't seen these in the metal but my overall feeling about the non-sport models is that they appear too bulbous over 40mm, where the narrowness of the lugs and the dial size simply don't incorporate very well. So unless you have huge wrists, 36mm gets... 

However I found that trying each in a different size will make you question what color and size is right for you… at least it does for me…

But it seems there aren’t many of these around.

In all the colours. I went for the blue 36mm. I though that the 41mm was too big for me and just didn’t look as good as the 36mm on my wrist. I also went for the Tiffany blue and then gave it to my girlfriend for Christmas. So I still get to wear it very ... 

Well I was convinced one way until I had an opportunity to handle several versions side by side. What struck me was I leaned towards different sizes depending on color of the dial…

Just my rule. I like the yellow 36mm over the red 36mm.

Especially on these where the dials are a large part of the visible diameter…

But unfortunately not an option for this poll… thanks!

I’ve long hesitated between 36 and 41 myself, and after trying multiple times on my 17,5cm wrist, I came to the conclusion that 36 mm was enough, especially with those very colorful dials. Then I hesitated between red and turquoise. Got the red and after ...

It’s special and more rare colors….

To me it’s a little less loud (I know, that might be a strange opinion). Also, with these colours I do think the smaller case is also more subtle.

I suppose it comes down to the purpose of the watch… 36 is subtle yet 41 playful

And life is not meant to be simple… if they were 38 we would have to find other trivia matters to dwell upon…
