I did post a survey on Instagram and have attached the poll results… not too different from this community votes but with a larger sample size:
A clear preference for yellow over red but very even between sizes which surprised me a little. I would have expected a bigger share of votes for the yellow 36 over 41 and possibly bigger share for red 41 over 36….

I haven't seen these in the metal but my overall feeling about the non-sport models is that they appear too bulbous over 40mm, where the narrowness of the lugs and the dial size simply don't incorporate very well. So unless you have huge wrists, 36mm gets...

Agreed! I’d rock a candy pink-36 over all the others.
But it seems there aren’t many of these around.
My first choice would be 36MM yellow,
but as @lberti mentioned the Tiffany blue is quite nice.

Well I was convinced one way until I had an opportunity to handle several versions side by side. What struck me was I leaned towards different sizes depending on color of the dial…
Here is an idea: The brighter the dial (or metal), the more a 36mm works versus a 40+mm.
Just my rule. I like the yellow 36mm over the red 36mm.

To me it’s a little less loud (I know, that might be a strange opinion). Also, with these colours I do think the smaller case is also more subtle.

I suppose it comes down to the purpose of the watch… 36 is subtle yet 41 playful
Because that would make it less complicated
And life is not meant to be simple… if they were 38 we would have to find other trivia matters to dwell upon…
