I tend to agree with Mr. Mayer statements in the video...

... considering the context he explains around these two special gold Daytonas.
He feels that the hype around the ceramic steel versions launched that same year eclypsed the fact that these unique dial colors were offered in same occasion.
I feel very few Rolex fans are aware of the existence of these two gold models as most Daytona talking in forums portals and IG keeps around the steel ceramics.
Personaly: I got one yellow gold Christmas dial last year. It was offered to me brand new at a very tempting price and I immediately fell in love with its fascinating dial in contrast with the gold.
I should say yhat I had bever bought a watch considering it an investment or its possible value in the future or especulating with a future re sale to make a profit. I just buy what I fall in love with if it is within my budget.
I must confess that after I bought it I still love its looks so much but doubted a little if this watch is so beautiful that it is more suitable for a lady than for men.
The Mayers comments make me feel that (as the seller told him) I choosed wisely! Lol! It really makes for an stunning view when I see it on my wrist!
Cheers! Abel
