These two are very cool looking. Both of them. The yellow gold green dial has a cool factor, the white gold blue dial is superb. AND at the price the steel ceramic goes, it is not stupid to consider them as a serious and interesting alternative. The quest... 

I am not really a fan of the whole Daytona range. However, I think that particular configuration of the Daytona (Yellow Gold with a Green Dial) is an absolute hit! I would buy that watch, and enjoy owning it. No doubt!

I don't see them as second choice. I see them as a different expression of the Daytona. Because of the unusual color of their dial, the combinations with the case, the different bezel ( metal + font ). Of course I would buy one of them, if I was intereste... 

I think a better statement from a collector would to suggest these two watches as being under the radar for those who are not hung up on the hype. If you like the Daytona line up try these two. Nothing wrong with speculating but i prefer to hear about the... 

The sense was exactly what you wrote, do you like these two versions or not? JM is a respected musician and watch collector, I don’t think what he said was related to the extra bucks he could make in the future reselling these two Daytona... I’m non a spe... 

I have actually been looking at the WG Daytona for a while now, both the blue dial and the steel/black dial. The latter being perhaps the more pedestrian or subtle choice.

has he bought a stock of these watches and wants to unload them at a later time as is the case with H's many articles. Do we also remember when no one wanted a Daytona? Things are unpredictable in watch collecting ...  

I’m joking At the end as already answered to other Purists I was only asking if you like these two iterations of the Daytona, and as well if the hype on the ceramic ones could be distracting vs other interesting Daytona... and obviously if you/we like or ... 

so don't worry about that plus the forum is accepting and helps a lot with it In regards to liking the two pieces, they are wonderful, the green dial is much more gorgeous than in the photos and probably my favorite out of the two. I am biased and prefer ...  

I can't blame him though. They are both good color combinations.

IMHO; we also have to be careful about the comments and statements of celebrities and influencers. We don’t always know their motives and what they base their opinions/predictions on. Oh, and I don’t care much for Daytona’s😁😁😁 Just my 0.02

I enjoyed watching this video but, honestly, I don't give two hoots what the guy thinks is cool or will appreciate in value. I also do not buy watches for their "investment" value, but because of the joy they bring to me. That being said, I really do like... 

And as most others I like JM for his passion of watch collecting, but his prediction is totally unpredictable. No one knows what the next hype will be and how long the Daytona will be held as high as it is now. Also don’t forget JM also has a stainless st... 

And I feel that when discontinued, it will skyrocket to the moon ... But I would buy it for its special beauty.

if i take 's hypothesis it guess it would be the least sold Cellini or Explorer II that will be in great demand in the future personally i like both the green & blue dial but i know i would not buy a precious metal daytona. Best, mahesh.,

yes, of course I understood your point. I feel nobody can predict if this watch will increase in value in the future or not. But something is sure: it has a beautiful and stunning dial which makes for an striking presence on the wrist glowing against its ...

This is what happened with the Rolex 6263 after the first Mayer video. At the time it was a relatively affordable vintage Rolex, and within a few months it became out of sight. I suspect the same will happen with the gold (green and blue dialed) Daytonas(... 

I Don't like the green Daytona ( the same green colour dial day date ) , too classic, better than the green sport dial of the yellow gold Gmt, Much more professional. I believe a lot in the future of these metals, much like the most demanded steel models....  

As weed becomes legalized for recreational use across America it will absolutely become a sought after watch. Every dealers collection has a yellow gold watch with a green face.
