Just having a discussion and I want to know which of these you would keep. So you own both and want to sell one. Would you KEEP the 5070R or would you keep the 5711/a btw, a poll function on this site would be welcome ...

sell 5711 Then with 5711 proceeds, sell 5070R and to use funds from selling both pieces to buy a 5070P
How is 5711 mass-produced?
The current prices are a result of supply shortage vs. demand

There is only one Nautilus by Genta There are many chronograph which is comparable or arguably better. You can even go to the super gorgeous 5370 Oh my God, I cant even mention 5370 without taking a deep breath

You even had the KEEP in caps for it - subconscious preference being revealed.
Dump the 5711 while the market remains strong.
Steel entry level watches will come and go; the 5070 remains in a class by itself. Once you peel away all the hype, objectively there really is no comparison. Whenever i think of the 5711, two words come to mind: irrational, exuberance.

That one would probably more fitted to be worn by your grand children's wedding in the future 😊. For Nautilus, I just think that it was a little bit overhyped and more into a fashion statement piece rather than pure watchmaking art in a nutshell... Best J...

They are very different, but both can be worn with a suit - your choice depending on your character: do you want something more official or more sporty?
5070R, for sure...
the Nautilus/Aquanaut/Royal Oak bubble will eventually burst, but the 5070 series has proved itself over the long term. In the end, "classic" always wins because everybody comes back around to it, eventually. -Dean
