Patek folks, In a little less than 2 months the Basel fair will open its doors to unveil the 2017 novelties. As usual, it is time for predictions and expectations! Let’s make our Patek Philippe 3-piece wish-list for this event. It can be about a new dial ...  

with a totally different atmosphere from the gold ones. As fot the subdials, I think that because of the movement and balance Patek has chosen, it may not be the one you want in the end. Thanks for your input Nicolas Best, Mark

I think that many here are looking for the 5131P and what kind of dial they will choose. The 5170A is indeed something that many purists would like to see. Maybe in today's economical context it will become possible. We'll see that Thanks! Best, Mark

Now that the 5180 is been discontinued I\'d love to see that movement in a nautilus(Nautilus skeleton )or the introduction of a full steel 5726 with a blue dial. 5131P would be great also .

This one will be tough to get! Your choice for the Nautilus is interesting, I wonder if they will make such a combination of two very different styles. Who knows. Yes, the 5726 with blue dial is something many will have to get. That's maybe a possible nov... 

2. New 5296 with a smoother bezel 3. 5227 in platinum

simple 3-hand Calatravas. Since I saw the 5227 in different metals I'm also considering one in the future. A bigger manual wound movement for such watches would be great! Thanks for sharing your choices! Best, Mark

That one just begs for a SS case.

Their aim is to propose a luxury version, with fine material and finishing. It is the spirit of a pilot watch with the spirit of Patek. However, getting a steel version would be another nice interpretation to see next to your beauties. Thanks Zabreg! Best... 

My wish in general from Patek this year is less diamond and bling and back to smaller watches. My three wishes 5959J 5140A and 5216R Black Dial.

and it people looking for bigger cases have appeared to represent quite a wide demand. However, I appreciated that Patek has always kept szes rather low compared to the average trend while providing smaller cases on the one hand and around 41/42 on the ot...

I think the Aquanaut deserves some attention. Thus, my suggestion for 2017 would be: 1) 5167P (tropical rubber strap) and/or a new complication, such as a chronograph/date model, while the 5980 is completely discontinued from the Nautilus line, making way... 

There is indeed room for a chronograph and I feel this is something that could really appear in the short term. 5170P is high in the wish list indeed and it could be really cool. Everything will depend on the dial color and decoration. As for the 5230 I t...

5711/1J with a blue or black dial. 5496r with rose gold Breguet numerals and dial. Is the world ready for a ceramic 5167? Not what I thought of suggesting but a 5170a would be nice

The 5711/1J with blue or black dial would be a great addition considering the comeback of yellow gold today. When I see the 5396 Patek has introduced for the 20th anniversary of the AC complication, I think that Breguet numerals would be a great addition ...

The 5170P, the 5227P... The 5960A with a new dial and a strap would be indeed excellent but I think the 5960 we have today will be the last one. Another vote for the Aquanaut chrono, I can't imagine they won't present it one day, especially since it is so...

It is not always a question of complications when dealing with Patek Philippe and I think that the 215 will come in the next few years. It will be interesting to see the Calatrava pieces that will be unveiled with that new movement. As for the 5296A, ther... 

5170P blue dial with tachy 5270P black dial 5930R cacao caviar dial

You 5930R with such dial would look very different and interesting indeed. I'm also looking forward to discover the 5930's evolutions in the future. The 5270P will be a classic, especially with a black dial. It will certainly come with it, in a matt finis...

variations of black dials as we have blue dials. That would be interesting, if you take the 5271P it has a different black tone that the 5170G. The black enamel being the most mysterious, intriguing, and noble of all blacks. Its not the one i wish for the...
