Automotive:
gorgeous, you have more fun and sensations than...
... with a gt3, as its convertible it will give you more emotions. As for the poor man's porsche leave it for whoever cares about ego trips Enjoy it!

Patek Philippe:
refinishing the case is not covered by the warranty service...
.. they can do it, but you have to pay it, like every other brand by the way.

Rolex:
Agree, but the one on your photo is from 2 years ago...
Produced for less than a year. it has a different blue dial, last year they reissued it with a different blue dial and the new movement. Beside different blue dial, the new model has a small crown under "6"

i agree with you, have the same dilemma...
... that actually needs the budget to solve That being said, bulky case might be in the spirit in this special case. Going bold makes sense

Rolex:
so the big question...
... what do you prefer, an MK2 with a nice light brown tropical dial ? Or an mk2 thin case, with a light black/very dark brown dial ?

nobody seems to know... Anyone own both?
... I've asked several vintage dealers, best answer was noticeably thinner. So strange Though it shouldn't be that hard to know.

Beautiful....
.. the nicest aquanaut IMO. The comfort, the simplicity, the proportions,... and that fantastic blue dial one of the best! Wear it in good health
