Guys it's a bit quiet here so.....5960p Love it or hate it???
We got very close to getting a full report on this watch from a well respected watch collector a few months back but it never happened so I am interested in hearing what you guys think of this watch. Even if you dont own one what do you think of this sometimes poked fun of watch????
I have worn mine now for many months and have very definite views... What are yours I would love to hear them.

you can't hate such a watch :-)
but it's not my favorite. It is a nice watch but I'm not a big fan of the bulls-eye, I prefer 2 subdials instead of one. And I would love to see the numers and hands of the chrono in another color (black and beige , NOT red and blue) So, it's not high on ...

If I had the cash I would go for the Datograph or the PP 5070 over the 5960.

Don't own one
Yet!!! IMHO, it is the essence of modern Patek. Innovative, understated (in plat), and quite practical in terms of complications. A chronograph that can actually be used in real life! Most events I want to time don't stop at 30mins.

The 5960's dial has too many things hapening at once. The glass as with many Pateks is in serious need of A/R coating. The photos you have posted bare this out nicely. There are several chronographs I would prefer over the 5960...Such as the 1815 chronogr...

I absolutely LOVE it!!!! I did from the first moment I set eyes on it but after owning one and wearing it often I simply love it..... In fact I would even go as far to say that if it were to house a Minute Repeater I would not need to own another watch......
