Patek Philippe: So part of a logo is bumped, and a discussion ensues about a decline of standards in the industry and beyond??

That is the craziest stretch I have heard in a long time. Let’s pull back to reality. I bet the logo was fixed in a matter of seconds. Even with few watches available for sale, I have to say that my experience at Patek dealers remains completely first class. It also just so happens that I have been

Take advantage of these market prices for the Resonance. Both great watches, but when a not-so-rare Resonance is valued same or greater than a 5970 (also not-so-rare), I would say either the Resonance market is ahead of itself, or the 5970 market is lagging. Either way, that is in your favor. Watch

All in all, go with one of the perpetual chrono you mention above, such as 5970.

Patek Philippe: Rarity is nice

but aesthetically I prefer the red chrono hands of the standard edition, and the red “1” of the date wheel (which I assume is not present on this limited edition).

Similar changes have also been found on 5070G and 5970G. But the indices seem to remain unaffected in these cases.

Independents: I was already a Nautilus fan,

so looks pretty good to me. But no interest in a tourbillon in my sport watch. Could have been an exciting introduction.
