Both great watches, but when a not-so-rare Resonance is valued same or greater than a 5970 (also not-so-rare), I would say either the Resonance market is ahead of itself, or the 5970 market is lagging. All in all, go with one of the perpetual chrono you mention above, such as 5970.

but aesthetically I prefer the red chrono hands of the standard edition, and the red “1” of the date wheel (which I assume is not present on this limited edition).

Similar changes have also been found on 5070G and 5970G. But the indices seem to remain unaffected in these cases.

so looks pretty good to me. But no interest in a tourbillon in my sport watch. Could have been an exciting introduction.
