but now not so much, though I certainly don't hate it.
The case and the wrist fit of this watch are spectacular.
But, even though the chrono mono-counter looks nice, it is very hard to read. And the chrono pushers are stiff and with unsatisfactory feel to me for a chrono at this level. I also have to say the annual calendar is OK, but not much special--I would rather have a simple calendar such as the 5980.
Another minor detail I did not like about this watch was the completely smooth, no resistance feel of the crown with manual winding. May just be me, but I like a little feedback when I am winding my watch, and enjoy this experience. I suppose I could have simply kept it on a winder, but I have become not much of a fan of winders.
The 5960 was hard to part with, but not one of those watches I miss too much when looking back. Now if Patek would just put their new manual chrono in this same case...........
