Well thanks guys...5960p The first in house, self- winding chronograph movement????

I absolutely LOVE it!!!! I did from the first moment I set eyes on it but after owning one and wearing it often I simply love it.....
In fact I would even go as far to say that if it were to house a Minute Repeater I would not need to own another watch....
The movement is very nice but the watch on my wrist just feels and looks perfect... Out of my collection it is the most useful, wearable watch.
Its beefy presence on the wrist is wonderful while the round pushers soften the overall look..
The chronograph in my opinion is very easy to use and I find the fly- back function very useful indeed. For me a watch that is an Annual calender with Am and PM indicator which has a useful 12 hour chronograph and look and feels so darn well balanced is a must for my collection and watch enjoyment.
So you may have guessed by now that the 5960p gets the big thumbs up from me....The only thing I would change however is the hands but that's all...
Thanks gents for all your thoughts and taking the time to share them..
Regards
M.

Yet!!! IMHO, it is the essence of modern Patek. Innovative, understated (in plat), and quite practical in terms of complications. A chronograph that can actually be used in real life! Most events I want to time don't stop at 30mins.
I love it!

Hi, Send me one and I'll do a report! This piece is among my top four choices with the 5146G slate dial, the 5098R, the 6000G! I keep the fifth place for the next manual wind chrono. Cheers Dje

Hi, They were both presented in 2006, but none of them at Basel. The 5960 in January, and the 5980 at the end of the year of the Nautilus 30th anniversary! By the way the 2006/2007 catalog shows the 5960 but there is no Nautilus presented at all! Cheers D...

this magnificent piece from PP. Having said that, for me at least, it falls into the category of "best to use in daily life but doesn't hit my horological buy button". Having been offered and passing up this watch at least 4 times now, I can say at this p...
